SBM Label x MerchUp: Merch for artists

For SBM Label, we prepared comprehensive merch for artists – from dedicated T-shirts and sweatshirts for Mata, White 2115 or Janusz Walczuk’s tours, to a special merch collection for the SBM festival. In total, there were more than a dozen unique designs and several thousand products that ended up in the hands of fans.

About the customer

SBM Label is one of the largest hip-hop labels in Poland, bringing together top rappers of the younger generation. As part of our cooperation, we prepared merch for the artists for their tours and a dedicated collection for the SBM festival – these included T-shirts and sweatshirts with various prints.

Customer needs: merch for artists

The goal was to create high-quality merchandise that met fans’ expectations and reflected the character of individual artists.

The designs were to be diverse – both in terms of aesthetics and fit for specific events and locations. Also key were cuts that correspond to current trends and unique print designs that are consistent with the artists.

We have made several thousand sweatshirts and T-shirts as part of various collections for tours.

Mata – tour in 10 different cities

T-shirt and sweatshirt print designs for Mata were made by Sebastian Tokarczuk. Each project in this realization was a special challenge – complex and highly detailed screen printing required special methods:

• Raster (photographic) screen printing – halftones that reflect the tonal transitions of the photo,
• CMYK color separation + special colors (such as blue and purple as spots) for better depth and saturation,
• dark knit, white underbase and precise matching of multiple clichés,
• fixation in the tunnel.

What’s more, a dedicated sweatshirt and T-shirt design has been prepared for each Mata concert on the tour :

SBM Festival

In addition, a dedicated merch collection was created for the SBM Festival using screen printing, as well as a series of SB Maffija T-shirts and sweatshirts.

Effects of cooperation

A wide range of merchandise for SBM artists was created – from dedicated designs for Mata’s concerts, to White’s diverse 2115 T-shirts, to collections for Janusz Walczuk or the entire SBM Label.

This allowed fans to buy unique products related to their favorite artists, and merch became an integral part of SBM tours and festivals.
